![]() ![]() Arcane Orb hits a pretty good size of monsters for good damage but costs quite a bit of Arcane Power. This is the main source of damage in this build. Mouse Right Click – Arcane Orb (Tap the Source) With Charged Blast it will do pretty good damage, but the other damage skills will do more and can hit more than one monster. Magic Missile is only used for single targets like Bosses and Elites or when you run out of Arcane Power with your other skills. Mouse Left Click – Magic Missile (Charged Blast) ![]() ![]() Fast monsters can be impossible to kite. This build can also be a great build for farming experience in low Monster Power levels, where you don’t have to worry about dying. With this build I wanted to make the max damage glass cannon build using the Glass Cannon passive skill and other skills that give damage buffs. It would give me single target damage and with the buffs would be over 300% dps with slow. The Glass Cannon Wizard is a fun build that does not require any special gear or minimum stats to work well. I'm starting to think it may be wise to replace it with Ray of Frost runed snow blast. The probability of landing the killing blow in a team game with disintegrate was something I had not considered. So not only do you have to make sure to be actually killing the mobs (which is pure luck most of the time), but also you are fighting with the rng that is built into the rune.Ĭonvergence would be great while leveling up and then swapping to Intensify at level 59 would net you better results in team games. Explosive Bolts has a 100% proc rate vs Volatility's 35% chance which is roughly 1 in 3. ![]() After they moved Electrocute to level 15 the next viable sorce of AoE was Shock Pulse w/ Explosive Bolts, but I noticed a huge drop in the AoE proc in team games because you don't always land the killing blow. Based on my beta experience Volatility will lose a lot of effectiveness in team play vs solo. ![]()
